I don't remember which deployment it was, but I remember an incident with target practice. The seas were rough and the Weps officer was advising against the exercise. Well, there's the right way, the wrong way and the Navy way.

We shot at the sled and nearly hit the ship pulling it. When we pulled back into Yokosuka, the crew from the other ship pulled in about the same time. The whole crew was in battle gear.

I think it may have been 84'. Anyone else remember this?
