DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE TIME BM'S E.G.JONES AND MAPES WERE ARRESTED IN THE MORNING SITTING IN TREES DOWN ON HOTEL STREET , DRINKING WINE AND CROWING LIKE ROOSTERS ?

Very close, I was shore patrolman at the time and....
it was in bremerton (port orchard, actually)
E G Jones was Hull Tech, Mapes was BT
E G Jones use to take over the microphone at the Crow's Nest and sing with the band. He was better than the vocalist sometimes. I think Mapes was the guy who bit off a baby duck's head in Subic, but....my memory don t always work so good
