Jesse was with us while in pre commissioning school in San Diego. He went home to see his fiance and family in Visalia our final weekend before we were to leave for Bremerton. He had problems with some people at a dance who wanted to dance with his fiance. Apparently they were waiting for him in the parking lot and stabbed him to death. He left behind many sad shipmates.
