That Christmas tree in Gun Plot in your pictures, I think it is the one I bought for Christmas of 83 our First in Yokuska.

At least it looks like the same ratty PX tree. I was work center supervisor at the time and had to get a special request chit to set it up.

CHRISTMAS spent chasing santas sleigh or was it an APOLLO ? We were very fortunate to have an extremely talanted chef placed in cooks duty . His name i recall not but at any occasion we were assured of some highly creative and excellant tasting deserts . I do remember though the he was discharged 18 months early honorably to attend a prestigous chef school on the east coast.

Are thinking of the cook from New Orleans who made the fried chicken, with a tint of garlic, that tasted a whole lot like Frenchy's fried chicken? Frenchy's went out of business in Houston a while ago, but everytime I had some, I thought of the Cochrane.

I remember something about a death on the Cochrane in 75 or 76
around that time. It was during th change of the Asroc Sentry
they were checking weapons and the one going off duty was doing
something with his gun and didn't notice he had it pointed at the
other guy sitting down at the table to his side and somehow
the gun discharged and killed him. I'm pretty sure it was
around christmas but not the year.

tag - You're right. It was Christmas Morning. I remember the guy that accidently shot the kid. He was a nice kid and I hope he didn't let it distroy his life.
