Does anyone remember when the oil king, while transferring fuel between tanks, overfilled one of the fuel oil tanks. This happened during the night before we were to enter port at Pearl. Oil came out of the vent and covered the starboard side of the ship. I remember the engineers and the deck gang being up all night cleaning the sides of the ship. I think it was on the return from West-Pac 68 or coming back from a Gemeni mission.
